James Aspeyames Aspey is a 28 year old vegan, animal rights activist from Sydney, Australia.
In 2014, he embarked on an unprecedented and life changing challenge. James took a 365 day VOW OF SILENCE to raise awareness for animals and promote peace over violence. He did this while travelling around Australia, and also whilst cycling 5000km's from Darwin to Sydney, in his popular campaign, Voiceless365. He then ended his vow, live, on Australia's most popular morning TV show and now he's sharing what he's learned with the world! |
Vincent BurkeVincent's work as a conservation activist began 35 years ago living in the old forests of Victoria, and around seven years ago he turned his sights to the oceans. Sea Shepherd took him aboard as crew and, together, they satisfied each other's standards of commitment to end the massacre.
His home is a violin workshop in Williamstown but he will not rest easy until the whalers are conquered and the beautiful titans of the sea are allowed safe passage. "To deserve the honour to live on this Earth, you are bound to fight for its protection. Only then do you earn the right to be buried in its sacred ground." |

Looking at his interesting and sometime tumultuous journey of self-discovery, the episode when viral globally.
Christened as Vicki-Anne, AJ lived as a female until the age of 32. Then, although desperate to begin his physical transition, he delayed it in order to birth he and his wife's second child.
